The Mansions of the Stars

85:2

وَالسَّمَآءِ ذَاتِ الۡبُرُوۡجِ ۙ﴿۲﴾
[✲]By the heaven having mansions of stars,وَالۡیَوۡمِ الۡمَوۡعُوۡدِ ۙ﴿۳﴾
And by the Promised Day,85:4

وَشَاہِدٍ وَّمَشۡہُوۡدٍ ؕ﴿۴﴾
[✲]And by the Witness and that about whom witness has been borne,85:5

قُتِلَ اَصۡحٰبُ الۡاُخۡدُوۡدِ ۙ﴿۵﴾
[✲]Cursed be the Fellows of the Trench —النَّارِ ذَاتِ الۡوَقُوۡدِ ۙ﴿۶﴾
The fire fed with fuel —اِذۡ ہُمۡ عَلَیۡہَا قُعُوۡدٌ ۙ﴿۷﴾
As they sat by it,وَّہُمۡ عَلٰی مَا یَفۡعَلُوۡنَ بِالۡمُؤۡمِنِیۡنَ شُہُوۡدٌ ؕ﴿۸﴾
And they witnessed what they did to the believers.وَمَا نَقَمُوۡا مِنۡہُمۡ اِلَّاۤ اَنۡ یُّؤۡمِنُوۡا بِاللّٰہِ الۡعَزِیۡزِ الۡحَمِیۡدِ ۙ﴿۹﴾
And they hated them not but because they believed in Allah, the Almighty, the Praiseworthy,الَّذِیۡ لَہٗ مُلۡکُ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالۡاَرۡضِ ؕ وَاللّٰہُ عَلٰی کُلِّ شَیۡءٍ شَہِیۡدٌ ؕ﴿۱۰﴾
To Whom belongs the kingdom of the heavens and the earth; and Allah is Witness over all things.اِنَّ الَّذِیۡنَ فَتَنُوا الۡمُؤۡمِنِیۡنَ وَالۡمُؤۡمِنٰتِ ثُمَّ لَمۡ یَتُوۡبُوۡا فَلَہُمۡ عَذَابُ جَہَنَّمَ وَلَہُمۡ عَذَابُ الۡحَرِیۡقِ ﴿ؕ۱۱﴾
Those who persecute the believing men and the believing women and then repent not, for them is surely the punishment of Hell, and for them is the punishment of burning.اِنَّ الَّذِیۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا وَعَمِلُوا الصّٰلِحٰتِ لَہُمۡ جَنّٰتٌ تَجۡرِیۡ مِنۡ تَحۡتِہَا الۡاَنۡہٰرُ ۬ؕؑ ذٰلِکَ الۡفَوۡزُ الۡکَبِیۡرُ ﴿ؕ۱۲﴾
But those who believe and do good works, for them are Gardens through which streams flow. That is the great triumph.اِنَّ بَطۡشَ رَبِّکَ لَشَدِیۡدٌ ﴿ؕ۱۳﴾
Surely the seizing of thy Lord is severe.85:14

اِنَّہٗ ہُوَ یُبۡدِئُ وَیُعِیۡدُ ﴿ۚ۱۴﴾
[✲]He it is Who originates and reproduces;وَہُوَ الۡغَفُوۡرُ الۡوَدُوۡدُ ﴿ۙ۱۵﴾
And He is the Most Forgiving, the Loving;ذُو الۡعَرۡشِ الۡمَجِیۡدُ ﴿ۙ۱۶﴾
The Lord of the Throne, the Lord of honour;85:17

فَعَّالٌ لِّمَا یُرِیۡدُ ﴿ؕ۱۷﴾
[✲]Doer of whatever He wills.ہَلۡ اَتٰٮکَ حَدِیۡثُ الۡجُنُوۡدِ ﴿ۙ۱۸﴾
Has not the story of the hosts come to thee?فِرۡعَوۡنَ وَثَمُوۡدَ ﴿ؕ۱۹﴾
Of Pharaoh and Thamud?بَلِ الَّذِیۡنَ کَفَرُوۡا فِیۡ تَکۡذِیۡبٍ ﴿ۙ۲۰﴾
Nay, but those who disbelieve persist in rejecting the truth.85:21

وَّاللّٰہُ مِنۡ وَّرَآئِہِمۡ مُّحِیۡطٌ ﴿ۚ۲۱﴾
[✲]And Allah encompasses them from before them and from behind them.بَلۡ ہُوَ قُرۡاٰنٌ مَّجِیۡدٌ ﴿ۙ۲۲﴾
Nay, but it is a glorious Qur’an,فِیۡ لَوۡحٍ مَّحۡفُوۡظٍ ﴿٪۲۳﴾
