بِسۡمِ اللّٰہِ الرَّحۡمٰنِ الرَّحِیۡمِ ﴿۱﴾

51:2

وَالذّٰرِیٰتِ ذَرۡوًا ۙ﴿۲﴾
[✲]By the winds that scatter seeds with a true scattering,51:3

فَالۡحٰمِلٰتِ وِقۡرًا ۙ﴿۳﴾
[✲]Then by the clouds that carry the load of moisture,51:4

فَالۡجٰرِیٰتِ یُسۡرًا ۙ﴿۴﴾
[✲]Then by the rivers that flow gently,51:5

فَالۡمُقَسِّمٰتِ اَمۡرًا ۙ﴿۵﴾
[✲]And then by the angels that finally administer and execute affairs,اِنَّمَا تُوۡعَدُوۡنَ لَصَادِقٌ ۙ﴿۶﴾
Surely, that which you are promised is true;وَّاِنَّ الدِّیۡنَ لَوَاقِعٌ ؕ﴿۷﴾
And the Judgment will surely come to pass.وَالسَّمَآءِ ذَاتِ الۡحُبُکِ ۙ﴿۸﴾
And by the heaven full of tracks,51:9

اِنَّکُمۡ لَفِیۡ قَوۡلٍ مُّخۡتَلِفٍ ۙ﴿۹﴾
[✲]Truly you are discordant in your utterances.51:10

یُّؤۡفَکُ عَنۡہُ مَنۡ اُفِکَ ﴿ؕ۱۰﴾
[✲]He alone is turned away from the truth who is destined to be thus turned away.51:11

قُتِلَ الۡخَرّٰصُوۡنَ ﴿ۙ۱۱﴾
[✲]Cursed be the liars,51:12

الَّذِیۡنَ ہُمۡ فِیۡ غَمۡرَۃٍ سَاہُوۡنَ ﴿ۙ۱۲﴾
[✲]Who are heedless in the depth of ignorance.یَسۡـَٔلُوۡنَ اَیَّانَ یَوۡمُ الدِّیۡنِ ﴿ؕ۱۳﴾
They ask: ‘When will be the Day of Judgment?’یَوۡمَ ہُمۡ عَلَی النَّارِ یُفۡتَنُوۡنَ ﴿۱۴﴾
It will be the day when they will be tormented at the Fire.51:15

ذُوۡقُوۡا فِتۡنَتَکُمۡ ؕ ہٰذَا الَّذِیۡ کُنۡتُمۡ بِہٖ تَسۡتَعۡجِلُوۡنَ ﴿۱۵﴾
[✲]‘Taste ye your torment. This is what you would hasten.’اِنَّ الۡمُتَّقِیۡنَ فِیۡ جَنّٰتٍ وَّعُیُوۡنٍ ﴿ۙ۱۶﴾
But surely the righteous will be in the midst of gardens and springs,اٰخِذِیۡنَ مَاۤ اٰتٰہُمۡ رَبُّہُمۡ ؕ اِنَّہُمۡ کَانُوۡا قَبۡلَ ذٰلِکَ مُحۡسِنِیۡنَ ﴿ؕ۱۷﴾
Receiving what their Lord will give them; for they used to do good before that.کَانُوۡا قَلِیۡلًا مِّنَ الَّیۡلِ مَا یَہۡجَعُوۡنَ ﴿۱۸﴾
They used to sleep but a little of the night;وَبِالۡاَسۡحَارِ ہُمۡ یَسۡتَغۡفِرُوۡنَ ﴿۱۹﴾
And at the dawn of the day they sought forgiveness;51:20

وَفِیۡۤ اَمۡوَالِہِمۡ حَقٌّ لِّلسَّآئِلِ وَالۡمَحۡرُوۡمِ ﴿۲۰﴾
[✲]And in their wealth was a share for one who asked for help and for one who could not.وَفِی الۡاَرۡضِ اٰیٰتٌ لِّلۡمُوۡقِنِیۡنَ ﴿ۙ۲۱﴾
And in the earth are Signs for those who have certainty of faith,وَفِیۡۤ اَنۡفُسِکُمۡ ؕ اَفَلَا تُبۡصِرُوۡنَ ﴿۲۲﴾
And also in your own selves. Will you not then see?وَفِی السَّمَآءِ رِزۡقُکُمۡ وَمَا تُوۡعَدُوۡنَ ﴿۲۳﴾
And in heaven is your sustenance, and also that which you are promised.فَوَرَبِّ السَّمَآءِ وَالۡاَرۡضِ اِنَّہٗ لَحَقٌّ مِّثۡلَ مَاۤ اَنَّکُمۡ تَنۡطِقُوۡنَ ﴿٪۲۴﴾
And by the Lord of the heaven and the earth, it is certainly the truth, even as it is true that you speak.ہَلۡ اَتٰٮکَ حَدِیۡثُ ضَیۡفِ اِبۡرٰہِیۡمَ الۡمُکۡرَمِیۡنَ ﴿ۘ۲۵﴾
Has the story of Abraham’s honoured guests reached thee?اِذۡ دَخَلُوۡا عَلَیۡہِ فَقَالُوۡا سَلٰمًا ؕ قَالَ سَلٰمٌ ۚ قَوۡمٌ مُّنۡکَرُوۡنَ ﴿ۚ۲۶﴾
When they entered upon him and said, ‘Peace!’ he said, ‘Peace!’ They were all strangers.فَرَاغَ اِلٰۤی اَہۡلِہٖ فَجَآءَ بِعِجۡلٍ سَمِیۡنٍ ﴿ۙ۲۷﴾
And he went quietly to his household, and brought a fatted calf,فَقَرَّبَہٗۤ اِلَیۡہِمۡ قَالَ اَلَا تَاۡکُلُوۡنَ ﴿۫۲۸﴾
And he placed it before them. He said, ‘Will you not eat?’51:29

فَاَوۡجَسَ مِنۡہُمۡ خِیۡفَۃً ؕ قَالُوۡا لَا تَخَفۡ ؕ وَبَشَّرُوۡہُ بِغُلٰمٍ عَلِیۡمٍ ﴿۲۹﴾
[✲]And he felt a fear on account of them. They said, ‘Fear not.’ And they gave him glad tidings of the birth of a son possessing knowledge.فَاَقۡبَلَتِ امۡرَاَتُہٗ فِیۡ صَرَّۃٍ فَصَکَّتۡ وَجۡہَہَا وَقَالَتۡ عَجُوۡزٌ عَقِیۡمٌ ﴿۳۰﴾
Then his wife came forward crying and smote her face and said, ‘A barren old woman!’قَالُوۡا کَذٰلِکِ ۙ قَالَ رَبُّکِ ؕ اِنَّہٗ ہُوَ الۡحَکِیۡمُ الۡعَلِیۡمُ ﴿۳۱﴾
They said, ‘Even so has thy Lord said. Surely, He is the Wise, the All-Knowing.’قَالَ فَمَا خَطۡبُکُمۡ اَیُّہَا الۡمُرۡسَلُوۡنَ ﴿۳۲﴾
Abraham said, ‘Now what is your errand, O ye messengers?’قَالُوۡۤا اِنَّاۤ اُرۡسِلۡنَاۤ اِلٰی قَوۡمٍ مُّجۡرِمِیۡنَ ﴿ۙ۳۳﴾
They said, ‘We have been sent to a sinful people,لِنُرۡسِلَ عَلَیۡہِمۡ حِجَارَۃً مِّنۡ طِیۡنٍ ﴿ۙ۳۴﴾
‘That we may send down upon them stones of clay,مُّسَوَّمَۃً عِنۡدَ رَبِّکَ لِلۡمُسۡرِفِیۡنَ ﴿۳۵﴾
‘Marked, with thy Lord, for those guilty of excesses.’فَاَخۡرَجۡنَا مَنۡ کَانَ فِیۡہَا مِنَ الۡمُؤۡمِنِیۡنَ ﴿ۚ۳۶﴾
And We brought forth therefrom such of the believers as were there,فَمَا وَجَدۡنَا فِیۡہَا غَیۡرَ بَیۡتٍ مِّنَ الۡمُسۡلِمِیۡنَ ﴿ۚ۳۷﴾
And We found not there except only one house of Muslims.وَتَرَکۡنَا فِیۡہَاۤ اٰیَۃً لِّلَّذِیۡنَ یَخَافُوۡنَ الۡعَذَابَ الۡاَلِیۡمَ ﴿ؕ۳۸﴾
And We left therein a Sign for those who fear the painful punishment.وَفِیۡ مُوۡسٰۤی اِذۡ اَرۡسَلۡنٰہُ اِلٰی فِرۡعَوۡنَ بِسُلۡطٰنٍ مُّبِیۡنٍ ﴿۳۹﴾
And We left another Sign in Moses when We sent him to Pharaoh with clear authority,51:40

فَتَوَلّٰی بِرُکۡنِہٖ وَقَالَ سٰحِرٌ اَوۡ مَجۡنُوۡنٌ ﴿۴۰﴾
[✲]But he turned away from Moses in his pride of power, and said, ‘A sorcerer, or a madman.’فَاَخَذۡنٰہُ وَجُنُوۡدَہٗ فَنَبَذۡنٰہُمۡ فِی الۡیَمِّ وَہُوَ مُلِیۡمٌ ﴿ؕ۴۱﴾
So We seized him and his hosts and threw them into the sea; and he himself was to blame.وَفِیۡ عَادٍ اِذۡ اَرۡسَلۡنَا عَلَیۡہِمُ الرِّیۡحَ الۡعَقِیۡمَ ﴿ۚ۴۲﴾
And there was a Sign in the tribe of ‘Ad, when We sent against them the destructive wind.مَا تَذَرُ مِنۡ شَیۡءٍ اَتَتۡ عَلَیۡہِ اِلَّا جَعَلَتۡہُ کَالرَّمِیۡمِ ﴿ؕ۴۳﴾
It left nothing whatever that it visited, but made it like a rotten bone.وَفِیۡ ثَمُوۡدَ اِذۡ قِیۡلَ لَہُمۡ تَمَتَّعُوۡا حَتّٰی حِیۡنٍ ﴿۴۴﴾
And a Sign there was in the tribe of Thamud when it was said to them, ‘Enjoy yourselves for a while.’فَعَتَوۡا عَنۡ اَمۡرِ رَبِّہِمۡ فَاَخَذَتۡہُمُ الصّٰعِقَۃُ وَہُمۡ یَنۡظُرُوۡنَ ﴿۴۵﴾
But they rebelled against the command of their Lord. So the thunderbolt overtook them while they gazed;فَمَا اسۡتَطَاعُوۡا مِنۡ قِیَامٍ وَّمَا کَانُوۡا مُنۡتَصِرِیۡنَ ﴿ۙ۴۶﴾
And they were not able to rise again, nor could they defend themselves.وَقَوۡمَ نُوۡحٍ مِّنۡ قَبۡلُ ؕ اِنَّہُمۡ کَانُوۡا قَوۡمًا فٰسِقِیۡنَ ﴿٪۴۷﴾
And We destroyed the people of Noah before them; they were a disobedient people.51:48

وَالسَّمَآءَ بَنَیۡنٰہَا بِاَیۡٮدٍ وَّاِنَّا لَمُوۡسِعُوۡنَ ﴿۴۸﴾
[✲]And We have built the heaven with Our own hands, and verily We have vast powers.وَالۡاَرۡضَ فَرَشۡنٰہَا فَنِعۡمَ الۡمٰہِدُوۡنَ ﴿۴۹﴾
And the earth We have spread out, and how excellently do We prepare things!وَمِنۡ کُلِّ شَیۡءٍ خَلَقۡنَا زَوۡجَیۡنِ لَعَلَّکُمۡ تَذَکَّرُوۡنَ ﴿۵۰﴾
And of everything have We created pairs, that you may reflect.فَفِرُّوۡۤا اِلَی اللّٰہِ ؕ اِنِّیۡ لَکُمۡ مِّنۡہُ نَذِیۡرٌ مُّبِیۡنٌ ﴿ۚ۵۱﴾
Flee ye therefore unto Allah. Surely, I am a plain Warner unto you from Him.وَلَا تَجۡعَلُوۡا مَعَ اللّٰہِ اِلٰـہًا اٰخَرَ ؕ اِنِّیۡ لَکُمۡ مِّنۡہُ نَذِیۡرٌ مُّبِیۡنٌ ﴿ۚ۵۲﴾
And do not set up another God along with Allah. Surely, I am a plain Warner unto you from Him.کَذٰلِکَ مَاۤ اَتَی الَّذِیۡنَ مِنۡ قَبۡلِہِمۡ مِّنۡ رَّسُوۡلٍ اِلَّا قَالُوۡا سَاحِرٌ اَوۡ مَجۡنُوۡنٌ ﴿ۚ۵۳﴾
Even so there came no Messenger to those before them, but they said, ‘A sorcerer, or a madman!’اَتَوَاصَوۡا بِہٖ ۚ بَلۡ ہُمۡ قَوۡمٌ طَاغُوۡنَ ﴿ۚ۵۴﴾
Have they made it a legacy to one another? Nay, they are all a rebellious people.فَتَوَلَّ عَنۡہُمۡ فَمَاۤ اَنۡتَ بِمَلُوۡمٍ ﴿٭۫۵۵﴾
So turn away from them; and there will be no blame on thee.51:56

وَّذَکِّرۡ فَاِنَّ الذِّکۡرٰی تَنۡفَعُ الۡمُؤۡمِنِیۡنَ ﴿۵۶﴾
[✲]And keep on exhorting; for verily, exhortation benefits those who would believe.وَمَا خَلَقۡتُ الۡجِنَّ وَالۡاِنۡسَ اِلَّا لِیَعۡبُدُوۡنِ ﴿۵۷﴾
And I have not created the Jinn and the men but that they may worship Me.مَاۤ اُرِیۡدُ مِنۡہُمۡ مِّنۡ رِّزۡقٍ وَّمَاۤ اُرِیۡدُ اَنۡ یُّطۡعِمُوۡنِ ﴿۵۸﴾
I desire no sustenance from them, nor do I desire that they should feed Me.اِنَّ اللّٰہَ ہُوَ الرَّزَّاقُ ذُو الۡقُوَّۃِ الۡمَتِیۡنُ ﴿۵۹﴾
Surely, it is Allah Himself Who is the Great Sustainer, the Powerful, the Strong.51:60

فَاِنَّ لِلَّذِیۡنَ ظَلَمُوۡا ذَنُوۡبًا مِّثۡلَ ذَنُوۡبِ اَصۡحٰبِہِمۡ فَلَا یَسۡتَعۡجِلُوۡنِ ﴿۶۰﴾
[✲]And for those who do wrong there is a share of comfort like the share enjoyed by their fellows of the earlier times; so let them not ask Me to hasten on the punishment.فَوَیۡلٌ لِّلَّذِیۡنَ کَفَرُوۡا مِنۡ یَّوۡمِہِمُ الَّذِیۡ یُوۡعَدُوۡنَ ﴿٪۶۱﴾
Woe, then, to those who disbelieve, because of that day of theirs which they have been promised!Al-Dhariyat — The Scatterers
