بِسۡمِ اللّٰہِ الرَّحۡمٰنِ الرَّحِیۡمِ ﴿۱﴾

اَلَّذِیۡنَ کَفَرُوۡا وَصَدُّوۡا عَنۡ سَبِیۡلِ اللّٰہِ اَضَلَّ اَعۡمَالَہُمۡ ﴿۲﴾
Those who disbelieve and hinder men from the way of Allah — He renders their works vain.47:3

وَالَّذِیۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا وَعَمِلُوا الصّٰلِحٰتِ وَاٰمَنُوۡا بِمَا نُزِّلَ عَلٰی مُحَمَّدٍ وَّہُوَ الۡحَقُّ مِنۡ رَّبِّہِمۡ ۙ کَفَّرَ عَنۡہُمۡ سَیِّاٰتِہِمۡ وَاَصۡلَحَ بَالَہُمۡ ﴿۳﴾
But as for those who believe and do good works and believe in that which has been revealed to Muhammad — and it is the truth from their Lord — [✲]He removes from them their sins and improves their condition.ذٰلِکَ بِاَنَّ الَّذِیۡنَ کَفَرُوا اتَّبَعُوا الۡبَاطِلَ وَاَنَّ الَّذِیۡنَ اٰمَنُوا اتَّبَعُوا الۡحَقَّ مِنۡ رَّبِّہِمۡ ؕ کَذٰلِکَ یَضۡرِبُ اللّٰہُ لِلنَّاسِ اَمۡثَالَہُمۡ ﴿۴﴾
That is because those who disbelieve follow falsehood while those who believe follow the truth from their Lord. Thus does Allah set forth for men their similitudes.47:5

فَاِذَا لَقِیۡتُمُ الَّذِیۡنَ کَفَرُوۡا فَضَرۡبَ الرِّقَابِ ؕ حَتّٰۤی اِذَاۤ اَثۡخَنۡتُمُوۡہُمۡ فَشُدُّوا الۡوَثَاقَ ٭ۙ فَاِمَّا مَنًّۢا بَعۡدُ وَاِمَّا فِدَآءً حَتّٰی تَضَعَ الۡحَرۡبُ اَوۡزَارَہَا ۬ۚ۟ۛ ذٰلِکَ ؕۛ وَلَوۡ یَشَآءُ اللّٰہُ لَانۡتَصَرَ مِنۡہُمۡ وَلٰکِنۡ لِّیَبۡلُوَا۠ بَعۡضَکُمۡ بِبَعۡضٍ ؕ وَالَّذِیۡنَ قُتِلُوۡا فِیۡ سَبِیۡلِ اللّٰہِ فَلَنۡ یُّضِلَّ اَعۡمَالَہُمۡ ﴿۵﴾
And when you meet in regular battle those who disbelieve, smite their necks; and, when you have overcome them, bind fast the fetters — then afterwards either release them as a favour or by taking ransom — until the war lays down its burdens. That is the ordinance. [✲]And if Allah had so pleased, He could have punished them Himself, but He has willed that He may try some of you by others. And those who are killed in the way of Allah — He will never render their works vain.47:6

سَیَہۡدِیۡہِمۡ وَیُصۡلِحُ بَالَہُمۡ ۚ﴿۶﴾
[✲]He will guide them and improve their condition,47:7

وَیُدۡخِلُہُمُ الۡجَنَّۃَ عَرَّفَہَا لَہُمۡ ﴿۷﴾
[✲]And admit them into the Garden which He has made known to them.یٰۤاَیُّہَا الَّذِیۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡۤا اِنۡ تَنۡصُرُوا اللّٰہَ یَنۡصُرۡکُمۡ وَیُثَبِّتۡ اَقۡدَامَکُمۡ ﴿۸﴾
O ye who believe! if you help the cause of Allah, He will help you and will make your steps firm.وَالَّذِیۡنَ کَفَرُوۡا فَتَعۡسًا لَّہُمۡ وَاَضَلَّ اَعۡمَالَہُمۡ ﴿۹﴾
But as for those who disbelieve, perdition is their lot; and He will make their works vain.ذٰلِکَ بِاَنَّہُمۡ کَرِہُوۡا مَاۤ اَنۡزَلَ اللّٰہُ فَاَحۡبَطَ اَعۡمَالَہُمۡ ﴿۱۰﴾
That is because they hate what Allah has revealed; so He has made their works futile.اَفَلَمۡ یَسِیۡرُوۡا فِی الۡاَرۡضِ فَیَنۡظُرُوۡا کَیۡفَ کَانَ عَاقِبَۃُ الَّذِیۡنَ مِنۡ قَبۡلِہِمۡ ؕ دَمَّرَ اللّٰہُ عَلَیۡہِمۡ ۫ وَلِلۡکٰفِرِیۡنَ اَمۡثَالُہَا ﴿۱۱﴾
Have they not travelled in the earth and seen what was the end of those who were before them? Allah utterly destroyed them, and for the disbelievers there will be the like thereof.ذٰلِکَ بِاَنَّ اللّٰہَ مَوۡلَی الَّذِیۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا وَاَنَّ الۡکٰفِرِیۡنَ لَا مَوۡلٰی لَہُمۡ ﴿٪۱۲﴾
That is because Allah is the Protector of those who believe, and as for the disbelievers, there is no protector for them.اِنَّ اللّٰہَ یُدۡخِلُ الَّذِیۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا وَعَمِلُوا الصّٰلِحٰتِ جَنّٰتٍ تَجۡرِیۡ مِنۡ تَحۡتِہَا الۡاَنۡہٰرُ ؕ وَالَّذِیۡنَ کَفَرُوۡا یَتَمَتَّعُوۡنَ وَیَاۡکُلُوۡنَ کَمَا تَاۡکُلُ الۡاَنۡعَامُ وَالنَّارُ مَثۡوًی لَّہُمۡ ﴿۱۳﴾
Verily, Allah will make those who believe and do good works enter the Gardens underneath which rivers flow; while those who disbelieve enjoy themselves and eat even as the cattle eat, and the Fire will be their resort.وَکَاَیِّنۡ مِّنۡ قَرۡیَۃٍ ہِیَ اَشَدُّ قُوَّۃً مِّنۡ قَرۡیَتِکَ الَّتِیۡۤ اَخۡرَجَتۡکَ ۚ اَہۡلَکۡنٰہُمۡ فَلَا نَاصِرَ لَہُمۡ ﴿۱۴﴾
And how many a township, more powerful than thy town which has driven thee out, have We destroyed, and they had no helper!اَفَمَنۡ کَانَ عَلٰی بَیِّنَۃٍ مِّنۡ رَّبِّہٖ کَمَنۡ زُیِّنَ لَہٗ سُوۡٓءُ عَمَلِہٖ وَاتَّبَعُوۡۤا اَہۡوَآءَہُمۡ ﴿۱۵﴾
Is he then who stands upon a clear proof from his Lord like those to whom the evil of their deeds is made to look beautiful and who follow their evil inclinations?مَثَلُ الۡجَنَّۃِ الَّتِیۡ وُعِدَ الۡمُتَّقُوۡنَ ؕ فِیۡہَاۤ اَنۡہٰرٌ مِّنۡ مَّآءٍ غَیۡرِ اٰسِنٍ ۚ وَاَنۡہٰرٌ مِّنۡ لَّبَنٍ لَّمۡ یَتَغَیَّرۡ طَعۡمُہٗ ۚ وَاَنۡہٰرٌ مِّنۡ خَمۡرٍ لَّذَّۃٍ لِّلشّٰرِبِیۡنَ ۬ۚ وَاَنۡہٰرٌ مِّنۡ عَسَلٍ مُّصَفًّی ؕ وَلَہُمۡ فِیۡہَا مِنۡ کُلِّ الثَّمَرٰتِ وَمَغۡفِرَۃٌ مِّنۡ رَّبِّہِمۡ ؕ کَمَنۡ ہُوَ خَالِدٌ فِی النَّارِ وَسُقُوۡا مَآءً حَمِیۡمًا فَقَطَّعَ اَمۡعَآءَہُمۡ ﴿۱۶﴾
A description of the Garden promised to the righteous: therein are rivers of water which corrupts not; and rivers of milk of which the taste changes not; and rivers of wine, a delight to those who drink, and rivers of clarified honey. And in it will they have all kinds of fruit, and forgiveness from their Lord. Can those who enjoy such bliss be like those who abide in the Fire and who are given boiling water to drink so that it tears their bowels?وَمِنۡہُمۡ مَّنۡ یَّسۡتَمِعُ اِلَیۡکَ ۚ حَتّٰۤی اِذَا خَرَجُوۡا مِنۡ عِنۡدِکَ قَالُوۡا لِلَّذِیۡنَ اُوۡتُوا الۡعِلۡمَ مَاذَا قَالَ اٰنِفًا ۟ اُولٰٓئِکَ الَّذِیۡنَ طَبَعَ اللّٰہُ عَلٰی قُلُوۡبِہِمۡ وَاتَّبَعُوۡۤا اَہۡوَآءَہُمۡ ﴿۱۷﴾
And among them are some who listen to thee till, when they go forth from thy presence, they say to those who have been given knowledge, ‘What has he been talking about just now?’ These are they whose hearts Allah has sealed, and who follow their own evil inclinations.وَالَّذِیۡنَ اہۡتَدَوۡا زَادَہُمۡ ہُدًی وَّاٰتٰہُمۡ تَقۡوٰٮہُمۡ ﴿۱۸﴾
But as for those who follow guidance, He adds to their guidance, and bestows on them their righteousness.فَہَلۡ یَنۡظُرُوۡنَ اِلَّا السَّاعَۃَ اَنۡ تَاۡتِیَہُمۡ بَغۡتَۃً ۚ فَقَدۡ جَآءَ اَشۡرَاطُہَا ۚ فَاَنّٰی لَہُمۡ اِذَا جَآءَتۡہُمۡ ذِکۡرٰٮہُمۡ ﴿۱۹﴾
They wait not but for the Hour, that it should come upon them suddenly. The signs thereof have already come. But of what avail will their admonition be to them when it has actually come upon them?فَاعۡلَمۡ اَنَّہٗ لَاۤ اِلٰہَ اِلَّا اللّٰہُ وَاسۡتَغۡفِرۡ لِذَنۡۢبِکَ وَلِلۡمُؤۡمِنِیۡنَ وَالۡمُؤۡمِنٰتِ ؕ وَاللّٰہُ یَعۡلَمُ مُتَقَلَّبَکُمۡ وَمَثۡوٰٮکُمۡ ﴿٪۲۰﴾
Know, therefore, that there is no God other than Allah, and ask forgiveness for thy frailties, and for believing men and believing women. And Allah knows the place where you move about and the place where you stay.47:21

وَیَقُوۡلُ الَّذِیۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا لَوۡلَا نُزِّلَتۡ سُوۡرَۃٌ ۚ فَاِذَاۤ اُنۡزِلَتۡ سُوۡرَۃٌ مُّحۡکَمَۃٌ وَّذُکِرَ فِیۡہَا الۡقِتَالُ ۙ رَاَیۡتَ الَّذِیۡنَ فِیۡ قُلُوۡبِہِمۡ مَّرَضٌ یَّنۡظُرُوۡنَ اِلَیۡکَ نَظَرَ الۡمَغۡشِیِّ عَلَیۡہِ مِنَ الۡمَوۡتِ ؕ فَاَوۡلٰی لَہُمۡ ﴿ۚ۲۱﴾
And those who believe say, ‘Why is not a Surah revealed?’ But when a decisive Surah is revealed and fighting is mentioned therein, [✲]thou seest those in whose hearts is a disease looking towards thee with the look of one who is fainting on account of approaching death. So ruin seize them!طَاعَۃٌ وَّقَوۡلٌ مَّعۡرُوۡفٌ ۟ فَاِذَا عَزَمَ الۡاَمۡرُ ۟ فَلَوۡ صَدَقُوا اللّٰہَ لَکَانَ خَیۡرًا لَّہُمۡ ﴿ۚ۲۲﴾
Obedience and a kind word is better for them. And when the matter is determined upon, it is good for them if they were true to Allah.فَہَلۡ عَسَیۡتُمۡ اِنۡ تَوَلَّیۡتُمۡ اَنۡ تُفۡسِدُوۡا فِی الۡاَرۡضِ وَتُقَطِّعُوۡۤا اَرۡحَامَکُمۡ ﴿۲۳﴾
Would you then, if you are placed in authority, create disorder in the land and sever your ties of kinship?اُولٰٓئِکَ الَّذِیۡنَ لَعَنَہُمُ اللّٰہُ فَاَصَمَّہُمۡ وَاَعۡمٰۤی اَبۡصَارَہُمۡ ﴿۲۴﴾
It is these whom Allah curses so that He makes them deaf and makes their eyes blind.47:25

اَفَلَا یَتَدَبَّرُوۡنَ الۡقُرۡاٰنَ اَمۡ عَلٰی قُلُوۡبٍ اَقۡفَالُہَا ﴿۲۵﴾
[✲]Will they not, then, ponder over the Qur’an, or is it that on the hearts are their locks?اِنَّ الَّذِیۡنَ ارۡتَدُّوۡا عَلٰۤی اَدۡبَارِہِمۡ مِّنۡۢ بَعۡدِ مَا تَبَیَّنَ لَہُمُ الۡہُدَی ۙ الشَّیۡطٰنُ سَوَّلَ لَہُمۡ ؕ وَاَمۡلٰی لَہُمۡ ﴿۲۶﴾
Surely, those who turn their backs after guidance has become manifest to them, Satan has seduced them, and holds out to them false hopes.ذٰلِکَ بِاَنَّہُمۡ قَالُوۡا لِلَّذِیۡنَ کَرِہُوۡا مَا نَزَّلَ اللّٰہُ سَنُطِیۡعُکُمۡ فِیۡ بَعۡضِ الۡاَمۡرِ ۚۖ وَاللّٰہُ یَعۡلَمُ اِسۡرَارَہُمۡ ﴿۲۷﴾
That is because they said to those who hate what Allah has revealed, ‘We will obey you in some matters;’ and Allah knows their secrets.فَکَیۡفَ اِذَا تَوَفَّتۡہُمُ الۡمَلٰٓئِکَۃُ یَضۡرِبُوۡنَ وُجُوۡہَہُمۡ وَاَدۡبَارَہُمۡ ﴿۲۸﴾
But how will they fare when the angels will cause them to die, smiting their faces and their backs?ذٰلِکَ بِاَنَّہُمُ اتَّبَعُوۡا مَاۤ اَسۡخَطَ اللّٰہَ وَکَرِہُوۡا رِضۡوَانَہٗ فَاَحۡبَطَ اَعۡمَالَہُمۡ ﴿٪۲۹﴾
This is because they followed that which displeased Allah, and hated that which pleased Him. So He rendered their works vain.اَمۡ حَسِبَ الَّذِیۡنَ فِیۡ قُلُوۡبِہِمۡ مَّرَضٌ اَنۡ لَّنۡ یُّخۡرِجَ اللّٰہُ اَضۡغَانَہُمۡ ﴿۳۰﴾
Do those in whose hearts is a disease suppose that Allah will not bring to light their malice?وَلَوۡ نَشَآءُ لَاَرَیۡنٰکَہُمۡ فَلَعَرَفۡتَہُمۡ بِسِیۡمٰہُمۡ ؕ وَلَتَعۡرِفَنَّہُمۡ فِیۡ لَحۡنِ الۡقَوۡلِ ؕ وَاللّٰہُ یَعۡلَمُ اَعۡمَالَکُمۡ ﴿۳۱﴾
And if We pleased, We could show them to thee so that thou shouldst know them by their marks. And thou shalt surely recognize them by the tone of their speech. And Allah knows your deeds.47:32

وَلَنَبۡلُوَنَّکُمۡ حَتّٰی نَعۡلَمَ الۡمُجٰہِدِیۡنَ مِنۡکُمۡ وَالصّٰبِرِیۡنَ ۙ وَنَبۡلُوَا۠ اَخۡبَارَکُمۡ ﴿۳۲﴾
[✲]And We will surely try you until We distinguish those among you who strive for the cause of God and those who are steadfast. And We will make known the facts about you.اِنَّ الَّذِیۡنَ کَفَرُوۡا وَصَدُّوۡا عَنۡ سَبِیۡلِ اللّٰہِ وَشَآقُّوا الرَّسُوۡلَ مِنۡۢ بَعۡدِ مَا تَبَیَّنَ لَہُمُ الۡہُدٰی ۙ لَنۡ یَّضُرُّوا اللّٰہَ شَیۡئًا ؕ وَسَیُحۡبِطُ اَعۡمَالَہُمۡ ﴿۳۳﴾
Those who disbelieve and hinder men from the way of Allah and oppose the Messenger after guidance has become manifest to them, shall not harm Allah in the least; and He will make their works fruitless.یٰۤاَیُّہَا الَّذِیۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡۤا اَطِیۡعُوا اللّٰہَ وَاَطِیۡعُوا الرَّسُوۡلَ وَلَا تُبۡطِلُوۡۤا اَعۡمَالَکُمۡ ﴿۳۴﴾
O ye who believe! obey Allah and obey the Messenger and let not your works go vain.اِنَّ الَّذِیۡنَ کَفَرُوۡا وَصَدُّوۡا عَنۡ سَبِیۡلِ اللّٰہِ ثُمَّ مَاتُوۡا وَہُمۡ کُفَّارٌ فَلَنۡ یَّغۡفِرَ اللّٰہُ لَہُمۡ ﴿۳۵﴾
Verily, those who disbelieve and hinder men from the way of Allah, and then die while they are disbelievers — Allah certainly will not forgive them.47:36

فَلَا تَہِنُوۡا وَتَدۡعُوۡۤا اِلَی السَّلۡمِ ٭ۖ وَاَنۡتُمُ الۡاَعۡلَوۡنَ ٭ۖ وَاللّٰہُ مَعَکُمۡ وَلَنۡ یَّتِرَکُمۡ اَعۡمَالَکُمۡ ﴿۳۶﴾
[✲]So be not slack and sue not for peace; for you will certainly have the upper hand. And Allah is with you, and He will not deprive you of the reward of your actions.اِنَّمَا الۡحَیٰوۃُ الدُّنۡیَا لَعِبٌ وَّلَہۡوٌ ؕ وَاِنۡ تُؤۡمِنُوۡا وَتَتَّقُوۡا یُؤۡتِکُمۡ اُجُوۡرَکُمۡ وَلَا یَسۡـَٔلۡکُمۡ اَمۡوَالَکُمۡ ﴿۳۷﴾
The life of this world is but a sport and a pastime, and if you believe and be righteous, He will give you your rewards, and will not ask of you your possessions.اِنۡ یَّسۡـَٔلۡکُمُوۡہَا فَیُحۡفِکُمۡ تَبۡخَلُوۡا وَیُخۡرِجۡ اَضۡغَانَکُمۡ ﴿۳۸﴾
If He ask them of you, and press you, you would be niggardly, and He would bring to light your malice.ہٰۤاَنۡتُمۡ ہٰۤؤُلَآءِ تُدۡعَوۡنَ لِتُنۡفِقُوۡا فِیۡ سَبِیۡلِ اللّٰہِ ۚ فَمِنۡکُمۡ مَّنۡ یَّبۡخَلُ ۚ وَمَنۡ یَّبۡخَلۡ فَاِنَّمَا یَبۡخَلُ عَنۡ نَّفۡسِہٖ ؕ وَاللّٰہُ الۡغَنِیُّ وَاَنۡتُمُ الۡفُقَرَآءُ ۚ وَاِنۡ تَتَوَلَّوۡا یَسۡتَبۡدِلۡ قَوۡمًا غَیۡرَکُمۡ ۙ ثُمَّ لَا یَکُوۡنُوۡۤا اَمۡثَالَکُمۡ ﴿٪۳۹﴾
Behold, you are those who are called upon to spend in the way of Allah; but of you there are some who are niggardly. And whoso is niggardly, is niggardly only against his own soul. And Allah is Self-Sufficient, and it is you that are needy. And if you turn your backs, He will bring in your stead a people other than you, then they will not be like you.Muhammad — Muhammad
